The Realm
Redania holds Novigrad and the lands north of the Pontar. Nilfgaard holds Velen south of the river, with Crow's Perch and, after a hard-won battle, Oxenfurt. Between the two crowns lies everything else: the trades and the guilds, the feuds and the fortunes, and every one of them is made by the players themselves.
What Awaits You
- A life of your own. A name, a face and a past of your choosing, and a path to walk: a trade, a craft, a way with a blade.
- A realm run by its people. There are no shops and no merchants but players. Every boot, loaf and blade was made, sold or taken by someone.
- Two crowns, endless intrigue. Serve Redania or Nilfgaard, found a guild of your own, or answer to no one at all.
- Roads, not portals. There is no fast travel. You go on foot, on horseback or by boat, and the world feels the larger for it.
- Death with weight. A fall costs you dearly, and a character can die for good, but only through an approved request, never at a stranger's whim.
There is no fee to play Pontar Online, and there never will be. Supporting the realm never buys an advantage in it.
